Subway - Harlan

A few weeks ago, we visited this restaurant for two subway bread rolls priced at $3.00 each. It's hard to find good bread for a homemade sub around here. However, when we stopped by recently, the girl at the counter had to call someone to check the price. To our shock, she informed us that it would cost $16.59 for just two rolls, plain and without any fillings. She explained that she was instructed to charge us for a veggie sub, which felt like blatant price gouging to me. Why would a business feel justified in overcharging customers for something as simple as bread? I’d rather take a 30-minute drive to avoid this place than support a business that prioritizes overpricing over customer satisfaction. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1.

I need to express my utter disgust with the meatballs on my meatball sub. They had an awful smell reminiscent of rotting flesh, were undercooked and had a disturbing greenish hue. To top it off, I found human hairs in the dish! This experience was absolutely repulsive.

The atmosphere was quite pleasant, scoring a solid 4, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. I always enjoy seeing Kayla; she’s consistently friendly. For this visit, I ordered takeout for dinner, and the price per person was quite reasonable, ranging from $1 to $10.
