This restaurant definitely doesn't qualify as a true Japanese establishment. The tempura was excessively greasy, and the fried rice was similarly oily. At least they managed to get the udon right, but that's not enough to make me want to return.

Went here for the first time last night and was looking forward to trying a new sushi restaurant instead of going to our usual spot...walked in and the atmosphere was great which made me hopeful. It wasn't super busy...I think we were the 4th table. Took awhile to get our drinks but I think there was only 1 waitress so we waited patiently. We got our drinks, my husband reached for the Splenda and 2 cockroaches came crawling out!!!! We politely canceled our order and left.

Came in for dinner at about 8pm on Tuesday night. Horrible weather, so only one table with people. There were to-go orders ready to go and the phone kept ringing. The hostess/waitress was very nice and prompt seating me at the sushi bar and taking my drink order..I went with a small bottle of Sho Chiku Bai premium ginjo since I like a nice clean sake. Asked her what she thought of the Sex on the Beach roll (while trying not to sound like a pervert) and she said it was one of her favorites if you can handle the raw scallops. So I ordered that and the Crazy Roll along with an order of Unagi. Everything came out fairly quickly and tasted very good and fresh. The unagi pieces were some of the bigger ones I've ever seen. I would come here again. I've read the reviews about poor service, clearly that wasn't a problem for me.

The food was outstanding! Our server had a great understanding of the menu and explained everything in detail. The atmosphere was incredibly pleasant, and the prices for the menu items were very reasonable.
