What a fantastic restaurant! The owner is wonderful, too. I visited earlier this year right before a three-day holiday, and they were closing to take the staff on a camping trip (if I recall correctly). That’s pretty amazing! They closed for three days to treat their team. As someone who owned a restaurant for over 41 years, I really appreciate how special that is. The food was delicious, and I will definitely return the next time I'm in town. As for the ambiance, it’s a pub and it has a great vibe!

The loaded fries are absolutely delicious and definitely worth trying. The bangers and mash were quite tasty as well. The shepherd's pie was good, while the clam chowder was just average, similar to what you'd find anywhere. The cost per person is around $30–50. Overall, I'd rate the food a 5, the service a 4, and the atmosphere also a 4. I highly recommend the Savage Fries, Cottage Pie, and Bangers and Mash.

The food here is delicious, and they have a full bar. I highly recommend the clam chowder bowl paired with fresh garlic toast—it’s truly heavenly! The garlic-infused vodka Bloody Mary is hands down the best I've ever had. We also tasted the spicy fish tacos, club sandwich, savage fries, and several beers on tap, among other things. We will definitely return to explore more of their menu the next time we’re in Brookings. Our waitress was fantastic as well—friendly and attentive. Overall, a 5-star experience!

I absolutely love the atmosphere at this place! We enjoyed sitting on a cozy couch in front of the fireplace rather than at a traditional table. We will certainly be returning!
