Chow's Garden Restaurant - Hanover

Excellent. We drove 40 minutes for Chinese food. We would do it again. Food was hot, tasty and the restaurant is well prepared to serve excellent food in this pandemic era.

New owners are very friendly. We love that we are remembered and just asked if we want the usual order. We make a large order so we have lots to take home for a couple more meals and feel we get our money’s worth. They lose one rating only because the last two times we were there the consistently wasn’t what we were used too. If we find on our next visit the same result we will have to find another Chinese Restaurant. This was/is the best in Hanover I hope they get back on track or we will be driving a long distance to find great Chinese.

Food and service are strong. More of a Canadian chinese experience but there are some very decent selections. The broth used for the wonton and chicken noodle soup is delicious very rich in flavour and not too starchy from the noodles or wontons. The egg rolls are crispy and full. The home made plum sauce is delicious. Lunch specials are very inexpensive and ample in portion, giving fast food restaurants a real run for their money. Anything I've tried here is great.

We have been eating here for quite a few years now. We have visited many other Chinese restaurants in the area but this one is the one we like best. It consistently puts out good food. We went in the other night and it wasn 't too busy and we were served out food in about 20 min. We would recommend trying it.

My sister and I travel to Hanover once a year to visit family. We look forward to our annual dinner at Chow’s. The food is excellent and the service is wonderful.
