Tacos Y Tequila - Hanover

Today, I went to dinner with my family and we were left waiting for 15 minutes because we didn't have a reservation. We weren't aware that it was necessary, and I believe the management should have posted a notice about reservations before entering the restaurant. That’s just my opinion, and honestly, I don't think it deserves even one star.

Delicious bowl with well seasoned meat and fresh veggies. Restaurant was quiet when I was there at lunch on a Saturday. Service was fast and friendly.

Myself and my family came in as a large group of 8, the staff were patient with us and very kind. The food was absolutely spectacular, some of the finest Mexican food I've ever had in New england!

Tacos are good. Food is ok. But their customer service is horrible. Worst customer service ever. We waited almost an hour until we decided to leave. They had one waiter for the entire restaurant. How extremely unprofessional and rude for customers. I hope the owners realize how horrible of an experience they provide to the locals that try and support them.

The chicken flautas were outstanding, but the beef flautas were sorely lacking in flavor. Both the carnita bowl and the el pastor/chorizo tacos were disappointingly bland, missing the vibrant seasoning that they desperately needed. The el pastor tacos, in particular, lacked any trace of the sweet, fruity notes that make them delightful. The rice had a good texture but was also flavorless. It feels like they may be toning down the dishes to cater to a less adventurous palate, which is unfortunate. With better seasoning, this could be a fantastic spot. I enjoyed the atmosphere, and the prices were reasonable. I visited with the intention of trying them out for catering, but sadly, I will need to keep searching.
