Bidrage med feedbackThe Raviolimobile is the food truck for Fiddlestick Farm located in Hanover, but they seem to do a lot of events and festivals north of Portland (the Maine Cheese Festival is where I first found them, but they also done the Norway Foothills Food Festival, Vintage Bazaar New England, Maine Fiddlehead Festival, and the Common Ground Country Fair for example . The small batch ravioli using local ingredients is delicious and hits the spot... but it certainly won 't fill you up. When I think of ravioli, I think of dumpling-like pillows filled with goodness; these ravioli were much flatter than I was expecting/hoping for/used to. That being said, they were still yummy: I tried them all and I think the shiitake-nettle were the most impressive in flavor (wonderfully earthy , with pumpkin coming in second. Personally, I think the sage brown butter sauce all of the varieties of raviolis are sautéed unfortunately make the other options all taste the same. For $9 I did the Sampler Basket (two of each ravioli variety ; while I totally appreciate that these come from a micro farm and they 're each, individually handmade, I 'm not sure they 're worth it for $1+ a piece (they just needed more filling . The sourdough garlic herb breadstick for $1 is amazing and the blackberry lemonade for $3 is also not to be missed, though! Kudos to the staff running the food truck: they were turning over food impressively fast, and were extremely friendly and patient despite the insanely long queue (and customers who were constantly wandering away; it has to be super frustrating when a food truck calls and calls a name but that person has disappeared until its convenient for them to wander back. Don 't be that person, okay? .
