Waffle House - Hampton

Th I s is normally my go-to, but it's starting to be a waste of time going here. What I like about some locations they will make sure a family get the full seats and at this location, you'll have 1 person setting at a table for 4 just to drink a coffee? Come on you will have 3 party's of 4 that walk in and can't get a seat cause the full seats are being used by 1 person. That's a loss of revenue, but hey it pushes us to go to a different location or restaurant...Now for the food its always on point and the service is good.

Been eating at WH's for decades. Never had a bad meal or service.

Food is pretty good here, staff of mostly friendly! They rarely answer the phone for call in orders, but they are usually busy!

This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a waffle house. We arrived at 11:30pm, and we were never greeted. After 20mins of my family and I standing at a dirty table, finally someone came to wipe it down. She was upset that the table in front of us didn't tip. She took our drink orders and didn't return for another 20 mins. Came back took our meal orders but never came back with drinks which were a cup of decaf and regular coffee, hot tea and a kids sprite. After 30 mins, she came and dropped half my food order, still no drinks, my mom went to remind her. She returned with two decaf Togo cups and said all the mugs were dirty and walked away. We flagged her down asking for the other drinks, instead she came and dropped my waffle off. My grits and waffle came cold. After 10 mins or so she dropped my husband's waffle and his coffee. After about 5 mins my mom had to go ask again for her hot tea and my daughter's sprite. With the drinks she dropped my mom and daughter's waffles nothing else. My husband still didn't get his entree. Took another 10 mins to get an order of sausage and bacon and the rest of my husband's All star meal. Which came wrong. Now we know why they didn't tip her, she was terrible. But my husband is an executive chef and I work in the food industry also, we tipped still but she really did not deserve it. We never got refills. So when we went up to pay the bill, asked for refills and she looked at me like I asked her for money. Three years ago I said I would never go to a waffle house again. Now I know why SMH ?This is a long review but I had to express how terrible it was. Plus it wasn't even busy only 12 ppl were in the whole dining room.

It was just the timing for me and the waffle was not good at
