Firehouse Subs Coliseum - Hampton

Due to no vegan/vegetarian options, I had to build my sub. Had given the cashier my order (I had to repeat it 3 times) and once I came home, I had a turkey sub. The cashier was more focused on doing a handshake with one of the other coworkers than listening. I guess I was given someone else’s order because, nothing on my sub was what I had requested. On the other hand! The older gentleman was very nice and that’s the only reason I had given an extra star. Tried to call the store when I got home; no answer. Paid 42 dollars for something I can’t eat.

I usually order online, and my orders are always prepared exactly as I request. However, during my visit to this restaurant on March 7, 2022, I was disappointed to find that the price of my salad had jumped from $7.99 to $10.99, a $3.00 increase for the same salad I used to buy. As a result, I've decided to start making my own salads from now on. I also find the subs to be too bread-heavy for my taste. Overall, this price increase is too drastic for me, especially with rising gas prices. I think it's time for me to say goodbye to this place.

This is the first time I've been here for years. as usual, eating itself was excellent, along with the staff. the problem I had was the sticker shock. I ordered one big combo and it was $20.00 it could be more possible to go into a real sit down restaurant.

Disappointing customer service. I love the food here but it's sad to see the staff's lack of professionalism and pride in their job. You can tell they hate being there and it makes customers not wish to be there longer than necessary.

I visited on Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m. with a large order. The woman who took my daughter's order was extremely patient as she listed every vegetable and changed her mind a few times after placing the initial order. Despite several other customers coming in, the staff remained calm and provided excellent service to everyone. The person who prepared my order carefully labeled each sub according to my specifications and handed me the large bag with a smile. I was really impressed by their teamwork in handling this busy situation. Great job!
