Bowman's Soul-n-the Wall - Hampton

I used to frequent this restaurant often, but recently the quality of the food has gone downhill. I typically do not write negative reviews, but I have to say, this place has become terrible. I ordered the chicken wings and fries, but there was barely any sauce on my wings, the fries were cold and soggy, and the overall experience was incredibly disappointing. The young women working there are lovely, but the food just isn't up to par anymore. I'm not sure when the old chef left, but they need to bring him back. This is the second time in a row that my meal has been subpar - the first time I only received one side of sauce, but now I'm fed up. I do not recommend dining here until they bring back the original cook. The owner used to be friendly, but now he is always in a bad mood and walks around with an unpleasant attitude. This is not the way to run a business. I am a busy woman myself and I understand that mistakes happen, but this is getting out of hand. Sorry to be blunt, but they need to get their act together.

The food at Black Karaoke is consistently great. However, it seems that the same group of people (her friends) are always the ones singing all night. There is a suspicion that there is no rotation in place, despite their claims. It can get a bit monotonous hearing the same individuals sing throughout the entire evening. As a result, I will not be returning for karaoke nights, but I will continue to dine there as the food is delicious.

This was our first visit to this restaurant and we enjoyed the fantastic atmosphere, delicious drinks, and the owner was truly amazing!

Telephone ordered they take today and I am happy to say my ribs, garlic kartoffels and topped greens were delicious. the portions were large and my sweet maisbrot rounded off a great meal for a great price. I gave four stars when I had one out, and can't say what a dune in experience would be, but I'll return!

I paid over $27 for a seafood platter and it wasn't worth it at all! They only gave me 3 very small shrimp. The platter had 3 little bay scallops instead of sea scallops. They should specify which scallops they are serving on the menu. My crab cake had shells throughout the entire cake! My cornbread was dry and just crumbled apart. The macaroni and cheese was alright. The catfish was the only thing that tasted good on my plate. I am highly disappointed!
