Castle Bay Golf Course - Hampstead

Have played this course several times. the facilities course is nice, the personel are friendly. played again 10/27/21. it was not a good experience, too much slow game in groups before. we were told by the message to the war basket that we were 22 minutes behind the schedule and if we had not accelerated the marshal, we would be dealing with us. if there was a marshal, he must have been on the break and the players who were before us must be treated first. 3 1/2 hours to play 12 holes, without any indication that they can accelerate. it was not a pleasant round!

I really appreciate the dining experience the atmasphere gave me a very warm relaxing meal and the service was delightful.

Course is in excellent shape. Greens are quick but true. The fairways are plush as well as the tee boxes. Great value for the price.

Who’s in charge here? Our group was finishing our putts on 18 when one of the drunken players behind drove his shot at us, then proceeded to confront and try and “fight” our group because of slow pace? We’re on 18.. finishing our round..? Made no sense, we had no prior conflict with this group the entire round? I love Castle Bay but this is unacceptable, we brought it to the front desk but they did nothing. THEN he waits for us in the parking lot? Makes threats to us as we were packing up? Unacceptable

The slowest round I ever have played! It is a pretty course and the greens were very fast today.
