La Autentica Birria Estilo Ocotlan

Food is very good extremely cheap and I did enjoy it but when it comes to birria I really was expecting more.Food: 3/5

I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to give my very honest opinion. I have had much better birria from Ocotlan (a different birria place in Chicago) and Monarca. This was $30, and the consome is basically water and has no flavor at all because of how watered down it is, and the birria meat is more than half pure fat and not edible because of that. Realistically, you get about $10 worth of food that you can actually eat, and the rest is lard very watered down, flavorless consome.

Got more expensive with more fatty cartridge rather than meat.It’s CASH only here. We live in the year 2022 and this place can’t get it together. Not worth it.

Very nice lamb broth, it's fresh and succulent, good sauces to go along with it as well. Not much space to sit down and eat, place is jam packed even in the morning.Parking: Hard to find parking

I’m not a birria fan unless I’m at el barrio (a tianguis in Leon, GTO), but this place is legit. Good consomé, good tacos de lengua, and birria is tender and juicy as it should be.
