Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

A fantastic spot to grab a bite when you're in a hurry.

I really enjoy the gift shop; there are so many interesting items to browse. The food is good too. I used to always order the country fried steak and remember loving it, but this time it was just okay. It definitely seems to have gotten smaller over the years as well. Their biscuits are amazing—it's hard to stop at just one, but I only let myself have one this time.

The food was significantly better than during our last visit about two years ago. They seem quite proud of their new alcohol offerings, and I'm pretty sure the drink menu is now more extensive than the food menu. However, the food was excellent, which is what we came for. Kudos to Cracker Barrel for raising the bar!

We love having breakfast at Cracker Barrel. I particularly enjoy Mama's breakfast with French toast, while my husband prefers their pancakes. We've also visited for lunch, and my favorite dish there is the chicken and dumplings. We've consistently received excellent service, and the prices are very reasonable.

My husband and I always feel safe parking in Cracker Barrels with RV/trailer parking. We have never come across a situation where parking was full or we didn’t feel safe. This location was no different. We got a good night’s rest and a warm breakfast for the road the next morning.
