Blackened Brew - Hammond

Holy smokes. Went here with my wife for a Sunday afternoon date. They'll had a great looking brunch menu, but we wanted burgers. Waiter was super helpful at our first visit. Anyway, I didn't know you could make layers of flavors on a hamburger like this. I've had a black and blue burger before, but this was on another level. Fries with truffle oil and parmesan. I was suspicious. They were delicious. Wife had bee's knees burger with smoked cheddar and spicy mayo. It's been a while since I've seen her close her eyes after tasting something, but there she was. The details matter to these people. They brand the top of the buns and they've perfected their sauces. Eat here. Would give san additional star if the music wasn't so loud and if there bathroom didn't feel so dark.

Whats not to love?!?! From the fabulously delicious food to the craft beers… not to mention the laid back atmosphere where you feel at home. It’s a place you can go enjoy a great meal, a cold one, and catch up with friends. It’s a place “where everybody knows your name.”

Stopped by with some friends to have a drink and eat some food and Im so glad they chose this place. The house burger with the wagyu option medium rare was excellent! So juicy without it dripping all over the place and the perfect amount of bleu cheese crumbs. Honestly it was perfect, thumbs up to the creator of this burger. I would come back in a heartbeat to try out the other burgers, too bad I dont live here.

Fantastic place! One of the best burgers I've ever had and great beer! Locally owned and done well! Can't wait for the reopening!

This place is amazing, the food is great and the customer service is top notch. I've eaten a lot of burgers from countless places and I can say without a doubt this is hands down the best place. Edit 1/25/20: The place is still really good food, but the burgers have gotten noticeably smaller. Hopefully the people that need to make the changes read this review.
