Bidrage med feedbackService slow so slow and trying to beckon staff- too late for dessert as had a concert to attend at the apollo. Starter bit soggy. Regretted rose lemonade far too strong. Beef rice bowl good Chicken yaki-soba not peppers raw too many bean sprouts. Don’t do seafood so asked of prawns could be replaced by Mange tout or mushrooms. 3 whole slices of mushroom! Te restaurant wasn’t busy we were eat at just after 5pm Food came out quick but waiting staff not attentive and when diners plates are done, bring the bill/ask if they want dessert or indeed both?
Me and my wife ate here last week and it was the first time either of us had ever eaten in a Wagamama. We ordered the pulled pork gyoza (delicious), chicken yakitori (tasty, but very little chicken), katsu chicken curry (very nice but wish we went for the spicy option) and the Duck Donburi (also very nice and a good portion). The food came out pretty quickly and we are quite quick eaters, so we were in and out within an hour. The waiter who took our orders was really nice and very helpful. I loved being able to pay for the bill with the QR code at the end too.
My experience at this restaurant was absolutely terrible! The food was mediocre, and it took a long time for our drinks to be brought to the table even though the restaurant wasn't busy. The staff were more focused on chatting with each other than providing good service. The managers were disrespectful towards the employees, as we witnessed them trying to pressure someone into doing a sampling, which they refused. Shortly after, we saw that person leave, which was very unprofessional and unjust.
We are big fans of wagamama and usually have a wonderful dining experience with great food and service at any location we visit. Unfortunately, our recent visit to the Hammersmith branch was disappointing. We decided to dine here after a show with friends, and one of them had never been to wagamama before so I assured her she would love it. However, upon arrival at 4:45, we encountered some issues. Our server, Angel, took our order but disappeared afterwards. The bottle of Malbec we ordered arrived opened and partially empty, and despite requesting a new unopened bottle, we were told they only had bottles without corks. After insisting, a full bottle was finally brought to us. We also had to ask for our glasses of tap water multiple times, even though the order had been sent to the bar. The edamame beans did not meet our expectations compared to previous visits, as they were not prepared as well. The Ebi Katsu and chilli squid, however, were enjoyable. The service was lacking as nobody checked on us throughout the meal, and it seemed like our server went on break without a proper replacement. The white chocolate and ginger cheesecake, normally a favorite, was served frozen solid. Overall, the experience felt like the restaurant had just opened with inexperienced staff. Despite these issues, I believe wagamama can improve and provide the expected level of service. I would recommend visiting a different branch instead of Hammersmith until they address these issues.
Just back from Wagamama in Hammersmith. Brought the family for our last night in London after a recommendation from my brother in law and we weren't disappointed. Great service, nice atmosphere and most importantly, great tasting food. Would highly recommend if you're in the area.
