My man and I enjoyed the most remarkable restaurants in the tempest. the food was excellently prepared and the upscale restaurant in the 1850s building right at the sea offers a breathtaking view. the interior lighting with old crickets created a romantic and sophisticated atmosphere. we had a most aromatic delicious mushroom soup and a risotto that any Italian cook would have been proud to serve as appetizers. the derées, black grouper, once again excellently prepared, and banana-nut cakes (they never guessed the banane! with garnels were served with a side of sweet and sauces, which produced the aromas of the fish and the dish perfectly complemented with their notions of citrus and fresh crusts. we finished our meal with a spectacular brownie served with vanilla ice cream and the smallest sprinkle of hot caramelized dark chocolate and a glass harbour. (mark, the baked cook, studied his art with maestros monitored and they will taste the difference! Previously we had martinis and riesling enjoyed with our appetizers and entrées and the beverage preparation and pairings were perfect.
Tempest is a great place for food and is especially known for its fabulous sauces. tempest can easily be overlooked, but it is worth discovering. the owner is proud to eat that is excellent. if they are looking for a quiet, high quality meal, with good wine, this is one to check.
