This restaurant is great, I really enjoy dining here.

This review is for the grilled cheese sandwiches alone.

Bartender sat on her phone and wouldn't serve me. Upon asking is she was an employee there she said yes and went back on her phone. I said ask if her job is to serve people drinks, "you don't need one was the response" and back to her phone. I ask if she's getting paid to sit on her phone or bartend, then she yelled at me and requested I be kicked out. I asked to speak to management and she wouldn't allow me, I asked her name since I would be submitting a formal complaint and she wouldn't tell me.

Gallagher's advertises their back bar room as a "rental option that holds up to 50 guests"; however, when I rented this room out for a party I hosted, I was immediately told when I got there by a bartender only 30 people can fit in the space (great....).I than had more than 30 people in the room and was worried for my guests being forced to go to a different room in the bar due to space. When three strangers entered the back room, I politely asked them to try the other bar as I was warned about the capacity of the space. One of the men was friends with the bartender in the "rented" room so I was shouted at by the bartender (without him knowing any of my reasoning for speaking to the guys) and threatened that I will be the one getting kicked out if I "ever do that again", followed by being called a Bi*^% (by the bartender's friend, and told I was racist(?!). I asked to speak to a manger solely due to the way I was spoken to and to clear things up. Unfortunately, there was no manager around so I spoke to another bartender who could not care less about my concerns. I was than told that the "rented rooms" are private only until 11pm but I was also than told if I wanted that room for my party only, I would have had to pay a fee (which I would have gladly done if was ever given that option, however, I was told there was no fee as long as I am buying food and people are drinking). Altogether, I brought in 50 people in this bar and spent a lot of money on a great night to be told I was a bi*%& and racist and than laughed at and lied to by the employees.Do not ever host a private gathering at this bar as the staff is unwilling to listen to any possible concern or if you want a space for your party only...apparently "renting a space" at this bar does not really mean you have a space at all. On top of this, the bar is filthy. No go for me or any of my 50 friends again.
