A beautiful restaurant at the rande of the city of Hameln. My wife had the brushette appetizer, which was surprisingly big and very, very tasty - but you really need to really like garlic like us both! I had the mixed appetizer with a good selection of different foods, including smoked salmon, and it was very nice. we both chose pasta as a main dish. I had the bacon egg carbonate, which was really very tasty and a good portion. my wife had the salmon tagliettelli, which was again very beautiful and full of big laughs. we both had a big beer at the beginning, which was nice and cold, and another little beer to finish. the whole came to nearly 40 euro, which we thought was a very good value for money. the staff was very nice and friendly and the male waiter made a few sweats and spoke good English to help with our bad German. all very nice and we would recommend it further.
.priced akkurat, there is nix to mecker..But whoever expects typical Italian cuisine in the sense of taste will not find it here.We were there to celebrate a passed guide license. It was the only locality with still a free table on this evening. The service completely overwhelmed by the pleasant man( note: if I have sufficient help! so much plaung should be in it). easierding 'characteristic --> lambrusco is not frascati and will not be provided by repeated queries! and ( later on clearing) 'with tunnel view'. the eat more moderate - penne al arrabiata fad in aroma( yes, sharp..more also not...the sauce definitiw tomaten-deficient)..Pizza vegetaria labbrig in the soil..my salat sweetly clapped on the teller and good(. as if one had grasped in a pott and simply put on what has come between the finger)..and the appetizer from the buffet..naja. a surimi salad with it - in coctail sauce. Italian!? the brot wonderful in the crust - in taste without perception. So, we were disappointed.
We stayed in December 2011 with the whole family in the new museum and tried to find a restaurant after 19:00 clock. the marco polo was the only restaurant to be found near the old town with a high claim that had still opened. almost all other localities closed at 18:30 o'clock or the suspended menu was a single deterrent maneuver. The service was courteous, competent and unobtrusive. our enkel was first served, for us adult came eating almost at the same time. The recommended Sicilian white wine was excellent for eating was amazingly inexpensive and from beautiful fruit and acid a real discovery. each of us five chose his own food. all were very satisfied. the mixed salad, was very well placed for December and seasoned with a homemade dressing. The sea salmon in white wine sauce was cooked at the point, juicy and the sauce did not leave a wish open. The price ratio is absolutely OK!The house is absolutely recommended for a cozy enjoyable evening!
We stayed in the neighboring mercur hotel and needed an Italian around the corner. in the summer you can sit on some tables in a cute area out. service very nice and child-friendly. menu corresponds to that of a typical ital. restaurants - nothing special, pizza, pasta and classic main dishes. the anti-pasti teller was delicious, but not stunning. the same applies for the pizza (selecting here however somewhat modest). a small catastrophe, however, was the open rosé of the house - after that we rather ordered a bottle from the wine card. Conclusion: to recommend a visit, but you should not expect a miracle.
