Ahoi by steffen henssler - Hamburg

This is on the walk-platz on Spitalerstrasse, about 10 min from the train station. They serve primarily sushi or fish. I had the fish and chips. Great service, friendly staff. Would have been crowded on Friday or Sat night. Lunch is hectic but they have tables outside (at least in nice weather). Would recommend the restaurant but you have to appreciate the menu in the way it's designed.

It was ok but no more and no less. There's quite some 'buzz' around him and it seems that he supports his brother with his name but that's it. A bit overpriced.

Henssler has opened only a few weeks ago a quick lunch place in the city. Very friendly staff, very quick service , good food quality but slightly on the expensive side and in my case unfortunately too much salt n the very delicious terriyaki burger .Recommendable for nice style, quick quality lunch but not if you are out for low budget food.

Good atmosphere, friendly service, tasty food and cool drinks. The prices are normal for Hamburg eventhough it's more a bistro than a restaurant. Nothing to complain about and absolutely worth the visit!

It was a must to visit one of the restaurants of my favorite german chef. Very good food, interesting ideas, good location, staff could be more polite, but still good. For sure i come backe when again in Hamburg
