Bidrage med feedbackThe best family restaurant with a friendly owner! We had a lovely chat with him while we were passing by as tourists from Belgium.
We visited for the first time in years and we're glad we did. The food was delicious, and our server, Dee, was genuinely friendly and incredibly cheerful. Overall, it was a wonderfully positive experience. We will definitely be back!
Initially, the service was quick, but unfortunately, we waited about 40-50 minutes for our food to arrive. We weren’t the only ones experiencing delays; an older gentleman seated nearby left after waiting for 45 minutes. However, it's worth noting that the diner was packed with customers, so this might not be a usual occurrence. If you're in the mood for comfort food and a classic diner atmosphere, ZJ's is worth a visit. Just be sure to bring good company in case there’s a wait!
Our server arrived promptly, letting us know that everything on the menu was available. It was clear that many customers were regulars, as we observed warm welcomes and familiar interactions throughout the restaurant – a great sign indeed. The menu boasted a wide array of options, making it tough to pick just one. My wife opted for the chicken fried steak (with gravy on the side), a classic favorite for her. As a long-time ham lover, I was excited and challenged by a 1-pound ham option on the menu, which I couldn't resist. As the photos show, we were certainly not disappointed! The service was attentive and friendly, making us feel truly welcomed. The food arrived hot, fresh, and delicious. We both found ourselves unable to finish our meals, especially me; that massive slice of ham was a worthy opponent, but I have no doubt I'll tackle it later. The restaurant's bathrooms were impressively clean, adding to the overall positive experience. After several disappointing outings that made us avoid going out for breakfast, we were thrilled to have discovered two fantastic new places in just as many weeks. Anyone in the know will appreciate this gem!
The biggest rip off In Hamburg we paid $66 for breakfast. I got two eggs and two potato pancakes cost me 20 bucks and four dollars for two pieces of toast. I can't even begin to tell you how satisfied I am with this place definitely don't go here. There's 1 million places In Hamburg can go for half the price.
