Dutch House - Hambleton

Great experience. When I arrived and had to eat lunch at lunch, all the food from the kitchen looked so good. it tasted as good as it looked. good vegetarian choices for the hearty pancakes. mooched around the art gallery and took a unique gift for a friend. beautiful selection of plants so that I could not resist to treat myself. then a small walk around the garden. if they are close, they must visit this place. wheelchair access if they need it.

This is a great place to have a lunch after going dogs. they have a small menu, but eating is the first class. they also have gluten-free options for suppe and sandwiches. they are very dog friendly. the art gallery (opened at a weekend) has always beautiful things to see. the circular walk that starts and ends here is interesting and has some great view.

Excellent food and coffee. The pancakes are amazing. You can choose from a selection of sweet or savoury. They also have a selection of freshly baked cakes. The gardens around the cafe are beautiful. I had coffee at a few different places around and this was my favourite. Definitely worth a visit. (They take card)

Lovely vege breakfast and lovely staff who kindly allowed me to order well after breakfast had finished. My bf loved his cheese and bacon pancake and the home made cakes looked delicious. The gallery, as ever, was full of interesting pieces. Well worth a visit and a stroll round the gardens.

We took the dogs on a long walk on some if the many surrounding footpaths which were all well maintained and well signed. We ended the walk at the Dutch House and were warmly welcomed and served excellent coffee and hot chocolate and some of the best tasting cakes I have had in a long time. Overall a very pleasant experience and one which we shall repeat.
