We stumbled upon this restaurant as it was the only one open on a Monday, and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was delightful, with numerous vegetarian options available. Almost every dish on the menu offers a vegetarian version. As for the service, it was great. We ordered takeout for dinner, and the price per person was between £10 and £20. Overall, I'd rate the food a 5 and the service a 5 as well.

I used to believe this was the best Indian takeaway in the North East, but I feel it has really declined over the past few months. I'm not sure if they’ve changed suppliers or something else, but the quality of the vegetables and salad has significantly worsened. During my last visit, the "salad bag," which used to include tomato, cucumber, and lemon, was nothing more than a single piece of lettuce—specifically the stem, not even the leafy part. The onions also seem to have lost their previous quality, and they didn't have any mozzarella for the pizza; instead, it was overflowing with cheddar! The mixed kebab was so greasy that it soaked through the naan bread, making it impossible to wrap it without getting my fingers all messy. There are two supermarkets in town where they could source ingredients if they're running low. I’m not sure if they’ve changed chefs, owners, or something else, but the quality has definitely gone downhill. I hope some changes can be made to restore it to its former glory.

The place was quite run-down and had spider webs everywhere, with some of the largest spiders I've ever seen still in them. The counter was falling apart, and they only accepted cash. Instead of politely explaining, the staff just brusquely said "cash only," and their attitude didn't get any better from there. However, the food was delightful. I chose to order from here mainly due to the limited options in this desolate town. Service: Takeout.
