Had gone for some work to Georgetown and after that heard from a friend about this bakery ! Best Bakery with Variety of delicious breads and cross buns One should never miss this If you want to grab a cup of coffee then any bun from this bakery is a must try Highly Recommended The numerous variety of scones are mouthwatering and will make you drool. If you want to try something other than sweet breads and buns one can get the mini pizzas too. They have some special Easter Baking available as well One should not miss I am going back there again and again just to try variety of breads . Go for it ????

Well, in a time when we can't travel it does the soul good to hear a polite young man and his amazing accent. What a delightful start to the day. Picked up some delicious uniced cinnamon rolls and a small loaf of farmers whole wheat bread. Really good. A great addition to our amazing bakery's in Georgetown.

Reading the reviews, sounds like I should try the CROSS BUNS. I bought quite a few scones for a meeting. I thought it was just me but we all said those are the worse scones we have ever had. They tasted doughy, dense and old. Sorry but I'm just being honest. No scones any more from this location. I hope there not baked the same at all Other locations.

I love bread. Especially fresh bread. And this place does it right. So fresh you can smell it the second the door opens. The scones are so soft and fresh they melt in your mouth. Honestly everything they make is delicious! I only wish they also sold coffee so I could save a trip after every visit. :

My recent trip to Cobs : I thought I'd take a trip to Cob's bread to see what all the hype was about and try some of those items: I purchased lemon blueberry scones, chocolate croissant, raspberry Danish, cinnamon bun, brioche buns, and a half baguette garlic something. My thoughts and observations after spending over $40: 1. The buns were a little over baked , very dark tops .Not very brioche like but not terrible either. I would not buy them again. 2. The garlic baguette was excellent. 3.The scones were to die for!!! Soft ,perfectly sweet. You can taste the lemon and blueberry flavours. A worth the cost purchase that I would definitely purchase again 4. The cinnamon bun was lacking cinnamon inside and it was mostly dry bread with a little streak of cinnamon paste inside . Softening it in the microwave for 5 secs helped but again I wouldn't purchase this again. Lacked flavour 5.The chocolate croissant, this was pretty good . Not sure I'd buy it again but it was not terrible. All in all I was very happy with the scones. The other choices were a big miss for me .Not worth the cost of each item in my opinion, except the scones. I'd give the scones 5 stars the rest were only a 2.
