Golden River - Halton

This used to be a Lovely Chippy so not sure what's happened maybe New Management but the Singapore Vermicelli was one of the Worst Meals we have ever had, Dry Tasteless and Really Poor, Curry was the only Decent thing we had.. Such a shame will NOT be Returning..

Fed up of being sent wrong orders just sent last 1 back they just re warmed the chips limp Greasy ordered a chip barm just received chips when I asked why was told they had run out of barns. Really shoddy service

This isn’t called Golden River it actually called Langdale fish bar so really a cross between chippy and Chinese. I noticed no customers really follow social distancing and no one wore a face mask I was the only one with one in. The Chinese food was nice and reasonably priced but trip advisor sends you to the wrong location ok Chinese worth trying but need better enforcement re face masks

This chippy is actually called Langdale Fish Bar. I don’t know why they have yet to update their name on the web. Anyway, we visited the shop to try their food. Not fantastic but not bad either. I hope they’re going to upgrade their system and will take payment by card next time for convenience.

It's a chinese takeaway. Decent prices with big portion sizes, excellent menu and it's up there with the tastiest I've ever had.
