Nena's Mexican - Haltom City

Prices on the menu were different than priced charged to the bill. There was a TEN PERCENT tip charge automatically added to the bill. There is an Adertised HAPPY HOUR sign in the restaurant but, they no longer have it. We tried to rectify the bill, and no one could adjust it. The waitress said the owner Maria Elena set up the register to ring up taxes twice and to include the 10% tip to the bill. Our waitress struggled to take the order and serve our meal. It was too hot in the restaurant for our liking. Two wall air-conditioned units and three rotating fans, and it was still hot. However, the food was very good. It needs better management.Parking: It's located in a small mall. Parking in front of the location is very limited. Public parking lot in the back.

My family stopped into town just for a quick moment. This place has some BOMB (very good) Mexican food! TRUST!Food: 5/5

Great food would give 5 stars but didn’t care for the rice

We were on the fence about coming in because it was empty and “if it’s empty, it must be bad” but thank goodness we decided to try it! Food was delicious, drinks were so good, service was amazing!! The vibe this place gives was the cherry on top! Definitely coming back!!

We stopped to eat, we were looked at like we didn't belong there, we were not greeted at all,Sat down at a table tried the salsa it was terrible,the person who came to take our order never gretted us either, he or she said are you ready? I should have said ready for what...We got up and left...
