Golden City Buffet - Hallandale Beach

I really enjoy this restaurant and plan to visit every two weeks. The staff has always been friendly and accommodating. I was surprised to see some negative reviews. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are quite reasonable. Where else can you find unlimited shrimp, ribs, and sushi for around fifteen or sixteen dollars for dinner? Some people seem to misuse buffets by loading up plates and not finishing their food. Leaving a tip might also improve the service you receive. By the way, the sushi is made fresh to order; there’s a chef preparing it right behind the counter every time I’ve visited.

The sushi was decent and offered good value, although I would have liked to see a wider variety of food options. The salad bar was somewhat lacking in interesting vegetable mixes. Overall, I think it was a good deal at around $11 for dinner. I recently came from a Hometown Buffet, which was awful and cost $14. I would definitely recommend staying away from that place; this restaurant is a huge improvement by comparison!
