Mexi's Halifax

Highly recommend calling ahead and placing a reservation if possible. My husband and I were one of the last tables to walk in without a reservation, this was on a Thursday evening as well.We ordered the Fajitas, a burrito and a nacho dip. The food was delicious and we left feeling happy and full.The staff at the Mexi Bayer's Lake location were very friendly and helpful as well as they were extremely busy running around.The washroom definitely could have used a spot check, there was TP all over the stales and floor.Overall I would highly recommend checking out the food at Mexi's Bayer Lake

We have eaten here in the past, and were pretty happy with the food. This time however, the disappointments were overwhelming. We ordered chicken wing nachos, chili, fajitas and chips with guacamole and salsa for take out. The nachos were bland and dry, the chicken wing pieces on it were hard like little rocks, and on a side note the cheese is strangely placed in orderly little blobs. The fajitas were mostly a massive pile of extremely thick sliced onions and, the bit of chicken that was there, was clearly slices of cooked and frozen meat, reheated with no fajita like seasoning, making it like eating strips of cardboard. The fajitas came with no sides to add to it, like cheese, salsa, sour cream etc. It did however come with rice. Sadly, the rice was so overcooked it was just red mush. The chili was actually pretty tasty but so salty the aftertaste was only that, salt. The guacamole and salsa simply were not in the order at all. Our bill was just under 90 dollars. Not again Mexis, in fact never again

First time going in . Very lovely atmosphere and friendly service. Free wifi , (ask service staff for password. )Free housemate salsa and chips.Good size portion meals and fresh with lots of flavor.Service was very attentive and friendly..? ?

Adam was our wait staff for the dining experience. We went in seeking margaritas, and left with full bellies, and laughter in our hearts.Eating vegan can be challenging sometimes. Mexi's was accomodating and provided satisfaction in their vegan burito.Vegetarian options: Just ask your server if there are any changes that you would like to make to your dish almost every dish was able to be acomodated to vegetarian.Kid friendliness: Laid back atmosphere.Parking: Free, open, and accessible.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. Lots of open space and washrooms were accessible.Dietary restrictions: Very acckmodating.
