Mcdonald's - Halifax

This is a pretty standard McDonald's although a bit on the small side. It is right downtown and so if you are off a cruise ship and looking for a McDonald's fix this would be the place to go. The service is fast and friendly and the restaurant is clean. The only downside is that being right downtown there sometimes are a few people standing about the entrance. They have never caused me an issue but the odd one is panhandling.

Randomly stopped into this McDonadls after a trip out to Peggy's Cove. The front order staff was pleasant and friendly. When I mentioned that we were tourists from Vancouver, he gave us several ideas from the "local" perspective regarding things to visit.Our order was hot and correct. No problems.While we were eating, one of the senior staff members approached us and mentionned that she had just moved to Halifax from Vancouver. We had a great chit chat and she wonderfully sent us to the Public Library for the 360* view from the 5th floor. A great suggestion! Thanks so much!

A very good fast food joint. Fast and friendly service, and predictable and reasonably priced food. Open 24 hours for the night owls. All in all, a good experience, but the washrooms could be a bit cleaner.

Lobster is available in many restraunts in Halifax but McDonalds was probably the least expensive. Good taste but some shell remained.

Great to have this location on Spring Garden Road however it is not clean. Very busy and other things. However it is nice to have the ICON on SPG rd.
