Jungle Jims - Halifax

Who doesn't love a wing night? I had never heard of this place before, but we thought, why not.Well, I can't put them on my favourite wing list. Firstly, because they are not tossed in the sauce. I feel that when they are tossed it allows the sauce to work in to the wing and gives a better taste. This could also fix the other issue was that was the wings were dried out. The waitress was quite nice, even lets us have another sauce for a better flavour profile. Other than that I can't say we were a fan.

Our visit was pleasing with very good food and great service. The restaurant was clean and the service was prompt. The server was friendly and met our needs very quickly. The food was fresh and plentiful. It is always great value for the money when we visit any Jungle Jims restaurants and this one did not disappoint.

If you are looking for road house pub fare, this is gonna be hard to beat. We'd been in the past, but not for years cuz it's been just average. Let's be honest, you don't go here for creative cuisine or nouveau cuisine. That said we went Friday night for apps and wings and we were WOW'd, best wings that I've had in this city in a long time. Not coated in batter, just a fried wing real saucy! Yum! We sat at the bar and what impressed us the most was that every server - yes! EVERY server asked us if we needed a refill/how food was/ if we'd ever tried a their fav wing sauce/ what we were doing later - it was as if we were eating at a friends house! Beer was cold, staff was awesome, wings, and taquitos were great! What can I say? We went back for lunch Saturday and ordered same food!!!Ohhhhhhhhhhhh AND you must order the donut holes. Mind blowing

We when to this restaurant to celebrate a family birthday. We were a party of 7. The service was good, the atmosphere is quite interesting with fish tanks and a jungle theme throughout. They have a varied menu from fish, pasta, steaks and ribs. Everything was very good except those who had the ribs found them tough and over cooked. These is a great place for a party or larger group.

Returned recently after not being there for a few years, what a disappointment. Appetizers were not at all filling, felt like I could have done better in the freezer section of my local grocery store. Main dishes were OK, but nothing exciting & the portions felt small & uninspired. Great service from our waitress, nothing to complain about there. Will make other arrangements next time considering it was $100.00 for a family of 4 & a couple beer.
