Cellar Wine Grill - Halifax

I moved here 3 years ago and am very fond of ethnic food . Finally I treated myself to Persian food . What a delight ! My lunch special was absolutely delicious .. the ample meal including Persian black tea. I have visitors from outside this area and will definitely introduce them to this family owned establishment. Amin , the waiter/owner is a delightful person which is one reason the ambiance is great . I rushed in after a very hot day of errands and immediately " chilled out ".I plan to have a Persian lamb dinner in the near future.

I am persian so I can tell if the food is good or not, and the food that we had at Brenton was awesome! absolutely delicious!!! we tried a mix of different kebabs which comes with rice, grilled tomato and yoghurt, the portions are really generous so you won't leave hungry, and the food is very reasonably priced. They have a variety of different alcoholic and soft drinks which is impressive for a persian restaurant, they also offer the best of persian foods on their menu, both stews and kebabs, they also have yummy desserts. The place is in downtown with a public parking right in front of it. I do recommend the place to all persians as well as anyone interested in flavorful meat/ grills. We will definitely go back!

This family run restaurant is our first choice in Halifax:)My family and I have always loved to go there and loved the delicious Koobideh Kabab and Joojeh Kabab. This time we asked for catering ( Koobideh kebab, Joojeh kebab, Mirzaghasemi and Kashke Bademjan). Definitely recommended:)Thank you Brenton:)

Wonderful ambiance, fantastic food at reasonable prices. The rice is delightful, the spices subtle and effective. I will be going back again.

My friend had not had Iranian food before, after they experienced the delicious food in Brenton, they said to me that they will come again for sure
