Baan Thai - Halifax

We tried the Red Curry, Penang Curry, Thai fried rice, and Pad Thai, and everything was delicious. It brought me back to my time in Bangkok, experiencing the best Thai food. I especially enjoyed the spicy kick in the red curry, which paired perfectly with the rice. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. I'm definitely a fan. Service: 5.0 Ambiance: 4.0 Quality: 4.5

The service was outstanding, but the food fell short of expectations. The noodles in the pad thai were overcooked and lacked flavor complexity, while the duck curry was underwhelming.

This Thai restaurant is our top choice in the city. They excel at making cashew chicken and pad thai, which are our go-to dishes. Although their spring rolls have changed somewhat, they are still enjoyable. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Delicious. Came here with my partner for his birthday and we both loved the food. I ordered the green curry and he had the pad thai, both were delicious! For dessert we had the sticky rice with mango and it was heavenly. Definitely coming back here next time I'm in Halifax.

Just had another amazing meal at Baan Thai. The food is consistently amazing. As usual we got the Penang curry, chicken satay, shrimp pad Thai, and mango salad. Since we one more person we got to throw in some extra dishes. We got the garden rolls, golden pouches (which are now a new addition to our regular order). We also tried the duck curry which had a creamy, flavourful sauce with bursts of perfectly cooked fruit. The golden pouches were crispy and tasty with a delicious pork dumpling-like filling. Wouldn't change a thing about the meal. Everyone left extremely satisfied and our server (who was wonderfully sweet and attentive) told the chef that we had a birthday at the table an they brought us a complimentary dessert of deep fried bananas wrapped in filo pastry with chocolate drizzled over top. No one could have been happier by the time we left.
