First time at this hidden gem. The fish platter was excellent! And the chowder was soooooo good, I bought some to go. Everything they serve is fresh, locally grown. Megan, our server was so personable and made sure we were well taken care of. You've got to try this place

Good for a one-time visit. I had the salmon with 'house ' batter fries. Good flavor. Plenty to satisfy. Little bit of a wait while it cooked, but it was fresh. Cashier couldn 't smile; wrong person for the position. Made the experience unpleasant.

Fish 'n Frites is a great spot for fresh seafood in downtown Halfmoon Bay. The outdoor seating allows you to enjoy the nice weather while dining. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. There are a variety of fish options to choose from. We tried the fish and chips and it was delicious. The best part is that the fish is fresh and you can select your own piece to be prepared.

The food at this restaurant was incredibly fresh and the homemade sauces were delicious. My 7-year-old son particularly enjoyed the cole slaw. The staff was also excellent.
