Impression - Half Moon Bay

The view: surf observers will like to see Mavericks when it breaks out of the second story full window view, and everyone will love the sunset over the Jedi. The food: is the kitchen and a welcome option for the fried fish taverns that surround this Japanese-French bistro. The fusion kitchen is well done here... They are either at the sushi bars or at a table with thoughtful French-Japanese dishes. The beverage cooler including Saki was a cool touch and could help you create a to-go beach sushi picnic on the right day! Many gluten, milk, soya free options here.

Very strange ambience (feels like a ex shopping mall), but food was really amazing! There are actually several small restaurants in this one building I can only talk with impression (the most important on the 2nd floor), but it is definitely a pleasant surprise.

I've been there twice since it opened. Talented cook and good service. Overall, a great addition to the coast, and I really hope that they make a part of it. Menu is a bit limited and I would prefer a la carte option instead of just prix fixe as it is now.
