Half Moon Bay Fish Market

Gave us great service. Everything was fresh and the cooked salmon was very good. We also tried the artichoke bread that was delicious.

Buy fresh Alaskan salmon here. Good prices. Smoked salmon is good too..... All the sea food looks fresh!!!

Stopped by today to get something fresh for dinner. Didn’t mind paying 2x Safeway prices for never frozen. But asked specifically if there were bones in the fish and was told “of course not. It’s fileted”. Nope. Bones in every Filet. Would have gotten a different fish rather then have a bad review.

If I had to dream up what my local fish market would be, I think it would be this spot. The fish is great and the guy Hector working it as well! They’ll boil it up for you right outside if you want ?

I purchased some fish that turned out to be spoiled. When I got home and opened the bag, the smell was overwhelming. I understand that the storm has affected the fresh fish supply, but that doesn’t excuse selling old fish. If I wanted that, I wouldn’t bother going to a fish market. I won’t be returning. Extremely disappointing!
