Flying Fish Grill - Half Moon Bay

Friday afternoon lunch, perfect weather great food. We ordered the fish and chips (the best I had in a long time). The dough was very light and it was perfectly roasted. The chips (French Pommes) were also wonderful! Also ordered Clam Chowder, it was delicious. Very creamy, a touch of cheese taste, many shells, perfect amount of potatoes. We have tried a unique drink called Bird of Paradise so you feel like on holiday. Very recommended. The only thing I would have insisted was the naughty bread.

This is the best fish I have ever had! Every time we pass through Half Moon Bay, we make sure to stop here and get some. They serve authentic cod and Mahi Mahi. Be sure to ask for the sides to be served separately when you order, otherwise they may become soggy.

We had our first meal in Half Moon Bay and it was a great experience. We stopped by for lunch and despite the busy crowd, we were seated promptly. The Calamari was delicious and fresh, the crab cakes were fantastic, and the tacos were superb. The menu had many enticing options and we would love to come back and try more dishes.

The best fish and chips Tacos! The fish and chips have a wonderful flocky, not heavy, batter. The chips are crispy and perfect. We all enjoyed the Tacos, commented that they were like a Burrito in size. Everything was freshly prepared and we made us feel fuller and happier! Wonderful and friendly service. If you are in the Half Moon Bay Area, this is a must to stop!!

I sat outside on the heated patio with my dog. They brought out a water bowl, treat, and a three-item dog menu for him! The human menu is extensive, with options like tacos, seafood pasta, fish and chips, and burgers. The kid's menu is also creative. The food tasted great, and the tacos came with a generous portion of rice and beans. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive.
