Boba Dude - Half Moon Bay

Boba Dude was the first place I ever tried bubble tea, and I was not disappointed! Their dishes and drinks are absolutely delicious. The only downside is the wait time, but the quality of the food and drinks makes it worth it. It’s a fantastic spot to visit after school or during lunch when you have some free time. Its convenient location makes it easily accessible from both the high school and nearby neighborhoods. Additionally, it's quite popular among middle and high school students, which is how I discovered Boba Dude. By the way, the Popcorn Chicken is back!!!

I stumbled upon this spot while searching for a refreshing drink on a warm afternoon after hiking at Purisima Creek. I visited a plaza in Half Moon Bay, hoping to find a great place to cool off. When I saw Boba Dude, I knew I had found the right spot. The atmosphere is lovely, and the person taking orders was incredibly friendly and helpful. They offer a variety of great options, and the boba was just to my liking. It’s fantastic to know there’s a reliable boba option along the coast!

Although I may have my San Francisco bubble tea preferences, my daughter and I were pleasantly surprised to find a Boba spot in Half Moon Bay. We were excited to discover this place and decided to visit it for a late-night treat. The ambiance is bright and open, and the boba is good, though not exceptional. The food is quite decent as well. It felt a bit disorganized during our visit; we ordered something and were informed that the recipe wasn’t quite perfected yet, but the staff communicated this in a charming and sincere way. I’m looking forward to seeing how they improve and refine their offerings. Overall, we will definitely return!

Some of the best Hawaiian food I had in the Bay Area. The food was fresh and portions were large. You also have a few traditional Boba tea foods like Popcorn Chicken and Gyoza. The staff was friendly. Boba tea menu is huge. Many traditional and non-traditional special drinks. Drinks are usually included with tea, selection of milk and a topping.
