A quaint spot with a sweet old couple and experienced sushi chefs at the bar. We ordered the seafood donburi, a nigiri set, and a local Gora craft beer. So delicious and fresh. The complimentary miso soup came with pieces of fish and it was incredibly flavourful. Use Google Lens to translate their menu!

If you want traditional Japanese sushi this is the place to go. Food was delicious and the staff is very kind. The language barrier is a present but nothing you can't fix with Google translator. 10/10 would recommend.

Absolutely amazing sushi, likely the best in Hakone although I haven’t tasted every ryokan’s! You can tell it’s run by a family who puts their heart into the food. The owners and staff are kind and hospitable to no end please ignore the reviews about how they treat foreigners, they’re just trying to say that they can’t take any more patrons at the moment and people get offended for no reason.
