Bidrage med feedbackFrom Taiwan. The separation between Japanese and foreigner is uncomfortable. The server is bad at his emotional performance.
People who come here should not talk and just eat only. Other groups of people making complaints to the restaurant is fair enough, but then the restaurant should not come to us to shut up, they should relocate us to somewhere else.
Fresh ingredients, packed with flavour, prepared with lots of finesse and skill. Wonderfully seasonal, as all kaisekis are.
My first kaiseki experience well worth it. We got the 3500 yen lunch box option. It was much much better than your standard bento. A 5 course meal, each part beautifully served. And despite my less than adventurous palate, I found it all very good. The fried oysters in the main lunch course were excellent. The sashimi course was great as well.
We ordered Sakura kaiseki meal which consists of 9 courses. All good, especially the sashimi and the starter which consists of little bits and pieces fish, veg). If only the set had some sushi in place of one of the grilled dish, it would have been better just my preference). As little as each course may appear, by the end of the meal, we were all FULL! The only thing that we found a bit off is that the price on the website said it included service charges and taxes ¥10,000/set) but in reality taxes were not included and we paid taxes extra ¥10,000/set 8%tax). Other than this, it was a nice experience.
