Bidrage med feedbackLamb fresh and high quality, poor services They provided the best Lamb quality and reasonable prices in Hakodate We enjoyed very much particularly in the winter Snow season for the BBQ We Discovered that most of peoples order All-you-can-Eat menu, but it is too much for us, we selected a-la—cart, staff spoke very little English (which was understandable in Japan),a Though it is located at the main tourist area (next to the La Vista hotel), believe it is part of the hotel’s food outlet, they are also no passion of service at all. Our visit was on weekday and non peak business hour, plenty of seats available but they insisted to arrange the table near toilet (we hate it), we refused to accept and told him we might consider to leave, at the end they agree to offered us the table we preferred. Really POOR Service, do hope management to rectify it.
Jingisukan (grilled lamb/other meat) restaurant with option for buffet or a la carte ordering. Oil splatters quite a bit more than I'm used to at a grilled meat place, possibly due to the shape of the plate. Meat is good but the selection is quite limited, chicken was disappointing. Beef and lamb are delicious.
Good friendly service. Fair quality food. For all you can eat, marinated lamb tastes really really good.
The waitress is super super mean and arrogant, the oil has splashed over the table and all over our clothes but she refused to change the BBQ grate! She told us she has already changed the grate once and couldn't change it again (for saving her time? For saving the restaurant's money? I can't believe this is the so-called Japanese courtesy, she just watched our clothes being poured by the dirty oil. There are tons of other Genghis Khan places in Hakodate, avoid this one.
There are therefore 2 sections on this location on the left side is the bbq (here called genghis) and on the right side is the suppenkurort, which is called meimei tei. I tried the suppene healing (if you ask, it is suppe, a little watery curry. do not confuse them with the thick Japanese curry. this is more spicy. I had a hunch. it's not bad, but the one I tried in sapporo was much better. the personal was friendly and the place of suppenkur is quiet.
