Bidrage med feedbackMany delicious bakery items for a nice lunch or stop for coffee. the service was very friendly and efficient. next time this will be our FIRST-stop!
We bought a fresh sourded leaf and we didn't know after we had eaten it in dawson that we bought a jalapeno cheddar sourded leaf. still good! we also ordered a lot of brownies on the way to dawson and her. all taste great! we also ate croissant sandwiches as din in and they serve them a heated sandwich. definitiw a great stop to restock on food when they drive west to anchorage and fairbanks, east to whitehorse and watson lake, or north to dawson.
I decided to stop by the village bakery based on a family member's recommendation. The special of the day was a delicious brisket, speck, and Cheddar cheese buffet served with a dipping sauce. It was so tasty that I ended up buying one to go. Many others seemed to enjoy the cinnamon buns and coffee as well. It was clear that this bakery was a popular spot in Haines Junction, and I was happy that I decided to stop by.
I loved this place. it happened. they have everything and the personal is wonderful and friendly. would definitely recommend. everything is fresh and wonderful. great start to our day.
This small restaurant looked appealing, but it did not meet the expectations we had heard about. The staff's attitude was unfriendly, acting as if it was a hassle to answer our one question and ring up our two coffees, even though we were the only customers at the time. The menu options were limited and the prices were high, especially considering the average quality of the coffees we purchased. We found a better coffee option at the nearby gas station for a similar price. This place tries to emulate a Portland-style coffee shop, but falls short in both quality and service compared to the real thing. In Portland, the staff would be much friendlier.
