Burger Barn - HAGERSVILLE

I have frequented this restaurant many times, but after the experience today, it may be the last time. After waiting outside in the cold for 40 minutes, they finally called our names. Once we were seated at our table, we waited for 23 more minutes without any service. When a waitress finally came by, she claimed she had already been to take our order, which was not true. We placed our order right away since we knew what we wanted. However, it took 30 more minutes for our meals to arrive. To my dismay, the chicken breast I received was dry and unappetizing. I wanted to complain, but I feared waiting even longer for a replacement. It will likely be a while before I consider returning to this restaurant, as the quality has significantly declined. It is a far cry from the memorable dining experience they used to offer on their television show.

We recently visited this restaurant with our family of four and had a fantastic server named Lacey. My husband and I both ordered the Texan burger, which had juicy patties and fresh fixings. The portions were generous and we ended up taking some food home. Our son enjoyed the delicious chicken parmesan, which came with a large side of garlic bread and cheese on a bed of spaghetti big enough to feed us all. We were glad we didn't order any appetizers as we left feeling very full. The atmosphere was great and we can't wait to come back and try something new from the menu.

I waited 22 minutes for a table, which was good, but then waited 45 minutes for our food. The fries were room temperature, the mac and cheese was cold, and the burger was hot but slightly burned on the outside. I felt sick from 5 o'clock until 9 the next day, so I won't be returning to this restaurant.

We went to Mother's Day. 4 of us. We waited 20 min for a seat, although there were 4 empty tables and another 3 that had to be deleted only. burgers were dry, overcooked and carburized. we waited 50 minutes for our food. after we ordered it. fries was cold. service was good. server was nice and friendly.

Wanted to try this place for a while so we did but will not be returning. The concept is great, decor and service friendly but food very mediocre. The burgers overcooked and dry, fries soggy yet hard. No beer a real bummer. What ticked me...off most is that we were offered gravy for the fries, got a tiny cup of made from powdered mix brown glop and were charged $2 each for that. That's what I would call a scam. Coming here just to save on tax not worth it.
