First waiter was very polite and helpful when asking question about the menu although she didn't no anything about the cocktails and had to ask her manager. My friend had ordered an majito cocktail and before placing order she had asked if there was any added sugar or sweetener the waiter wasn't sure and had asked her manager who then said No. When cocktail arrived my friend could taste a lot sweetness and had ask the waiter again if there was any added sugar her manager once again said no my friend then told her that it tasted really sweet the manger was arguing rudely with my friend who was being nothing but polite then told my friend she will give her a refund manager went away and came back and then told my friend she was heated right there was added sugar and claimed the menu she had behind the bar had different recipes than the menu not once did the manager apologise. We felt so unease after as she started talking and laughing with her colleagues and they kept looking over St our table. I will never return there again worse service and very rubbish cocktails.
We’ve been there with my boyfriend for a diner on Sunday evening and it was fantastic. Food was delicious, great service, even though one of our dish wasn’t like we was expecting it’s been fixed by staff really quick. we got a discount and it was really nice experience. We live local so will be back shortly
Tasty food as per usual but terrible customer service ruined my dining experience! I visited this branch with a couple of friends, upon entering the building we were aimlessly standing around for 2 minutes before having to wave to an employee to seat us. This was shocking because there were only 6 other customers, none of which were being served. Once seated we had to a wait a long time for an employee to come and take our order. One of my friends had an issue with her milkshake as it did not taste as described on the menu, we raised this issue with our server who asked if she wanted an exchange, my friend accepted this offer of an exchange. This seemed a pretty quick and pleasant conversation until a female brunette employee with a lot of tattoos came over and was disgustingly rude to my friend. She communicated to my friend that an exchange would not be an option as it is not company policy and the provider reason for wanting an exchange was, in her opinion, not good enough. This unpleasant exchange went on for another 5 minutes, after several dirty looks and cutter her eyes at my friend the employee finally agreed to an exchange. After this the employee walked away but conversed with her colleagues as they continuously looked over at us. We were made to feel extremely uncomfortable. Once the food came we were not given any cutlery and once again I had to get the attention of one of the employees who brought dirty cutlery which I had to point out to her. Avoid this branch as poor customer service from employees will ruin your dining experience.
Been going to the diner for a while and generally the food is good and decently priced and they have a lot of plant based options but on this particular occasion i was quite disappointed. I decided to bring a friend with me and the black lady with straight hair and a cap was absolutely lovely and is a great waitress honestly, one of the best service ive ever had from her, super friendly and makes you feel comfortable, and is the reason why this isn’t a 1 star review. Anyways we were leaving and i popped to the loo i was told by my friends when i returned that the manager had an issue with us not paying the service charge which is optional.The lady who served us had finished her shift and we were pretty much by ourselves afterwards. I actually think its very rude for a manager to call out customers for not wanting to pay an extra towards service. It is optional and should remain as such. Normally we would but due to financial reasons we didn't. It may seem like nothing but to some people the couple pounds is everything and management should never approach customers asking why they haven't tipped. It’s the first time that has ever happened in any restaurant I've ever been to. Perhaps this manager is new Needless to say the friend i had brought along with me doesn't want to come back and neither will i until the management changes. Its a shame its been a local for a while : I haven’t written this to be spiteful more just awareness on how you treat customers and how you make them feel.
Service was ****, vegan food was bland and my milshakes constantly are the wrong taste.we came in and it took aboUT 2 minute 's besides the restaurant being empty. The drinks took 15 minutes keeping in mind there was only 2 other tables(6 other people in the restaurant). I ordered a Snickers milkshake and it tasted like Peanut butter. I did not like it . It was nasty. Maria a lady who works there came over and was suprisingly rude telling me that I should know it was going to taste like Peanut butter . I said it isn 't a peanut butter milkshake your restraunt has called it a Snickers milkshake the rude lady continued to argue. Say I will have to pay for another, in the end i got a oreo milkshake which tasted like a tripple chocolate milkshake. Worst ireo milkshake ive had. After that was resolved she continued to look at us and talk to her team. Was very uncomfortable to eat here. Will never come back.
