I have been to this restaurant twice now. The first time, I tried their set breakfast and the second time, I had the chicken curry and rice. Both times, I was impressed with the portion size for the price. The woman working at the counter was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this cafe and will definitely be returning in the future!
We had lunch here last week. Our meals were very enjoyable. A good portion size as well. The service was great. . . Very friendly waitress. We returned the next morning for breakfast, which was also great. I feel very full. I definitely recommend this café. I will definitely come back when I am in the area.
I visited Kingfisher café after spending the night in the area. The breakfast I had was delicious and very well cooked. For a cost of 5.80, I had a hearty meal with toast and a drink included in the deal. The café itself was spotless and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Next time I'm in Dalston, I will definitely stop by there again!
This area is no stranger to Turkish eateries, but I was kebabbed to find the British themed Kingfisher not far from the Kingsland station and Shanghai Chinese restaurant. A tidy interior with waitress service, and constant attention to wiping vacated tables and the floor when needed. Samples of home made apple crumble behind the counter with salads, but the mainly English range of hot dishes including omelettes was what some high viz jacketed customers wanted, along with beverages or canned soft drinks. The shep was £6.40 and worth the price with several vegetables, but I missed the ice cream and apple crumble for an extra £3, (ice cream alone £2) The three specials are on a blackboard outside, but there is a slightly well thumbed menu on most tables.
