Hackney Fresh

The organic fresh fruit and veg is expensive. The selection of fresh and frozen vegan food is really good. Edit: I updated this Review in June 2018 to remove points about rude staff. In the past months there seems to have been complete turnaround in how much he staff treat customers. I now enjoy the chats I have in Hackney fresh!

Really great selection and variety of vegan goodies... Probably 10-15 different kinds of vegan cheese(Violife, Tofutti) same for tofu, sausage/burger replacements, Booja Booja truffles and ice cream (if you haven't tried this brand, you need to, it's divine). They also have Follow Your Heart vegan eggs and Primal vegan jerky, CoYo in all the flavours... Other brands on the shelf were Dragonfly (their stuff is excellent), Taifun, Wheaty... They also had a whole bunch of vegan chocolates near the til. Safe to say, very impressed. Worth checking out.

If you want any of the fridge or freezer stuff there is a Holland and Barret 30 seconds away that is half the price. I hate people over-charging so much for Vegan/Healthy options

Such an adorable spot and has everything you need ! I love that they’re eco friendly, have recycled things, organic and vegan options! Love my candles too! This place will be my new favorite and go to place! The owner is super nice too!

I love this little shop, one of my favorites for food shopping in Hackney area. They also have amazing supplements, natural cosmetics and great candles. Try the coffee too.
