Bidrage med feedbackThere are many places in east london to get a decent brunch in these days, but the walking pig caught me in front of a dae with her menu and so I and my friend alison went to the brunch date there on the other day. the go pig caffe, is, strange enough, not connected to the famous goer pig metzgereien. I find it strange that they have been so closely tied with something that already exists, but the metzgers do not seem to think. after their breakfast but the went pig are some serious meat lovers, and gay is in the did the taste of the day. we had selled over the menu online and were a little disappointed to see that it wasn't the same as what was on the...read more
Something that looks as simple as an English breakfast should not be overlooked. yes I know it's full of calorie and obesity but there's only these. that's so groundbreaking in london. in the quiet quarter of hoxton, past parks, hairdressers etc. they reach the hoxton market; the long stretch of the road is filled with goodies. a mix of quirky shops, restaurants, caffes and market stands. at one end of this long stretch is the go pig caffe; they used to be in the "the eagle" in farringdon street, which I missed when I worked in the opposite.

There are many places in East London to get a decent brunch these days but the Ginger Pig caught my eye with their menu a while ago and so me and my friend Alison went for a brunch date there the other day. The Ginger Pig Café, is, oddly enough, not affiliated with the famed Ginger Pig butcheries. I do find it weird that they have chosen to name themselves so closely to something that already exists but the butchers don’t seem to mind. Judging by their breakfasts though, The Ginger Pig are some serious meat lovers, and pig is indeed the flavor of the day. We had been salivating over the menu online and were a little disappointed to see that it wasn’t the same as what was on offer...read more
This is my favourite restaurant in the neighborhood. A simple Portuguese eatery with consistently good food (and occasionally brilliant). Absolutely amazing value for money and big portions. Have only ever eaten here in the evenings. Menu changes very frequently, but there is usually a selection of chargrilled, pan fried or braised fish and meat on the mains menu, accompanied by legumes or potatoes and a homemade sauce of some kind such as chimichurri, hollandaise, or romanesco. A staple that's always on the menu is a big rib eye or sirloin (400g) with rocket salad, chips and bearnaise. The vegetarian option is always imaginative and good enough to tempt the carnivores. I...read more
