Bidrage med feedbackI was a little disappointed to find a hair in the coleslaw and another in the appetizer. This was only my second visit, so I'm uncertain about returning. The restaurant does seem very clean, and the portions are generous.
My friend and I decided to visit Blackstones Restaurant on Route 46 in Hackettstown today, and we were in for a delightful surprise! We both ordered the split pea soup, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever tasted! It was packed with bacon, potatoes, and carrots, topped off with croutons and a rich split pea broth. We also enjoyed a delicious Caesar salad. For our main courses, I had the Chicken Penne Vodka, while she opted for the Chicken Saltimbocca. Both dishes were fantastic! We left with plenty of leftovers for another meal too!
The homemade barley soup was delicious. The chicken Caesar salad was good overall, though the chicken didn't look very appealing; however, it tasted great.
I just did take out of rack of lamb with an awesome gravy, potatoes, and vegetable. I must say it was the best rack of lamb ever.!! Pete did an excellent job cooking this meal!!
This has been a GO-TO place for us for years from back when it was known as “Pietros”. The owner and chef Peter Giller is outstanding and still going strong with the same incredible quality that keeps you coming back. Please support this great local business ! And try the specials !! Awesome catering too.
