It's Greek to Me - Hackensack

Today is an important day for me and I decide to order Greek food. I ordered a LAMB ORZO $23, a watery pasta dish with a tomato sauce upstairs and 5 pieces?pork? Meat if the PORK was NOT LAMB. I then ordered a GRILLED OCTOPUS $27.96 and a ridiculous piece of octopus. Shameful. All black pommes. Never. My husband threw the supposed lamb into the garbage with pasta. .

Terrible customer service from the little guy who answers the phone! They forgot to add Pita bread and extra shrimp with order, we called to let them know, and they told us to call Grubhub to know them? they deliver the order they don't pretend the food?. The first and last time? Your rice smells like a homeless in summertime?.

Delicious gyro sandwich! It's really huge. I get it again and try other menu items!

Ordered a gyro from this restaurant today via grubhub and found this piece of wire in it. Called the restaurant and spoke to the manager and was simply told sorry but you need to grubhub because there was nothing they could do or i could go pick another one up from them but not delivered . Then hung up. I 've ordered from this restaurant 2 to 3 times a month in the last year and to be blown off so quickly is disappointing. Grubhub doesn 't prepare food, they do. I won 't be dining here ever again.

We dined at Simply Greek for the first time. Nice location right on Rt 35 in front of Best Buy. We were seeking gluten free options for the future and found a jackpot. See the menu for details. Nice inside decor with appropriate Greek music and a happy attentive staff. One thing to know this is a BYOB establishment so plan ahead. There is a wine store on the other side of Rt. 35. We started with a Falafel and Hummus appetizers and both were great. For dinner we both ordered kabob platters, my wife with lamb and I ordered pork. The lamb was delicious and the pork kabobs were a nice surprise. In lieu of fries we ordered rice with our dinners. Plates were also accompanied by fresh onions and tomatoes. Everything was excellent nothing but good things to say. Finally we couldn't visit without sharing the Baklava which was crunchy on the outside and nice and rich in the inside. Overall a great dinner with excellent service for a reasonable price. We will be back.
