Bidrage med feedbackIt was the first time I went to this takeaway shop and was very disappointed in the way the food was cooked. I ordered a popular pad Thai dish with chicken. I was looking forward to the food but was dissatisfied with the burnt food and small amount of chicken in the dish. I won't be going back there again. Now I know why the place is empty and dead.
Thai cuisine is always lean and well flavoured for weight watchers- good ginger chicken stir fry, good service, patronised by discerning locals, near large shopping complexes south of old town
Stopped for a quick lunch on a weekday. Very fast, good service, as we arrived quite late, 1.40 pm, we were the only customers. Our meals were both very good, chicken curry for both of us. Nice pieces of chicken with coconut milk and spices. Friendly staff/owners. A little hard to find as address was not listed on Trip Advisor, However, some other reviewer gave the address so found it after another look. Address: Perseverance Street, near Excelsior Street corner opposite Woolworths. This is not Noora Thai, it is Noori Thai.
If you're searching for the telephone number of this restaurant, you might not find it listed under Noori Thai, but rather as Noora Thai. I opted for takeout and ordered my usual dish, ginger stir-fried chicken. The establishment is more of a takeout joint with a few outdoor seats. The staff was friendly, and the prices and portion sizes were fair. However, I was disappointed that I couldn't taste the ginger in my dish - instead, there was an unidentified sweet spice flavor. The chicken was of good quality, and overall it was a tasty stir fry, but it didn't quite meet my expectations for a ginger chicken dish.
We made a stop at this restaurant during our trip through Gympie. Its convenient location on Perseverance Street (right behind Woolworths on the highway) makes it ideal for travelers. The portions were generous and the food tasted fantastic. The kids enjoyed the chicken and prawn glass noodles, which were flavorful but not too spicy, perfect for those with sensitive taste buds. The adults ordered the chicken cashew dish, which was simple yet delicious with plenty of cashews, and a medium seafood chilli dish that lived up to its heat level and was filled with a variety of seafood. The coconut rice was exceptional. The only downside was that the meals didn't all come out at the same time, but as a family, we didn't mind sharing until everything arrived (luckily the kids' meals came out first).
