Great scrambled eggs breakky and good coffee. Staff lovely. Good atmosphere in this old shop. Would definitely go again

We chose this restaurant because Trip Advisor listed it at #1 and now we can see why. The atmosphere is lovely and quaint, food wonderful and excellent service. We came with our 4 yr old and being a typical picky eater, he didn't see anything he wanted. The man who helped us behind the counter (possibly the owner?) told us he remembered what it was like to have a child that was picky so he offered to make us a sandwich catered just for my son. My son tasted it and loved it (and so did we). We also really enjoyed our own meals. Highly recommended if you are planning to eat in Gympie.

My ham panini was lovely. I must confess I was hoping to get a spaghetti pesto or a risotto but the menu was sandwiches. I ordered a torte which I took away ... this wasn't as good as expected.

The place is very beautiful and entertaining. We had paninis for breakfast, it was delicious and super filling!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone ❤

Had not been here before but was meeting up with my daughter (I travelled from Kingaroy and she from Cooroy). This is now going to be our "go to" spot. Comfy, beautifully presented and the apricot fruit toast is to die for. Sensational coffee served in China cups was a nice touch. Took home their Biscotti as a treat, yummy. Definitely recommend you try this out. A gem in an old country town.
