Ysgethin Inn - Gwynedd

Been here loads of times for a drink, but never food. But due to my chaps Birthday we decided to try it. OMG I must say the food was lovely, decent portions, decent prices and above all food was fresh, hot quickly served. Order was Burger, Lasagna there Steak Pie, which were all priced around £14 £15 each. The only tiny critisim was the Steak Pie was on a small rectangle plate, where normally steak Pies like these in a dish, with floating pastry on top are put onto the bigger plate, so they can be tipped out and place the pastry on top (alot less messier) So overall a lovely meal will be returning shortly on our next holiday.

Beautiful setting, food was lovely couldn't fault at all, but the staff are absolutely awful! No smiles from any of the staff at all, the guy huffed and puffed when I asked to order food. 2 trainees on bar that had no idea how to pour a pint or what any alcohol even was. I work in a family pub and if we have any trainees on bar its always made sure they are trained during the week days and not on a weekend when it's busy! Women's toilets were practically under water and the baby changing table is right in the way of the door and so high I could barely reach to actually change my babies nappy! So disappointed as I have been coming here for over 30 years for food anytime we have been on holiday. Such a shame the staff clearly hate their jobs as not one of them put a smile on their face.

Visited here last night after my partner calling in previous evening and liking the pub. We had a meal which was lovely. Staff very polite and quick service. Outdoor play area really great and garden so lovely. Great place to sit and relax. River right next to pub running past all tables. Would definitely recommend.

We went Sunday 9th of June we popped in for a drink and ended up having a Carvery it was lovely the meat just melted . The staff were really nice very pleasant polite and very welcoming. The Garden is beautiful nice play area and lovely by the river Will definitely visit again .
