The restaurant serves delicious, straightforward pub fare. The staff is friendly and the portions are generous, especially the homemade chips. The prices are reasonable and the establishment is clean with a variety of options to choose from.

It 's all in my title really. Piping hot, huge portions of excellent pub grub just the job if you 've been up the hill and just the job if you 're going. Excellent local beer too with friendly and efficient staff. Good old Vaynol, under new ownership for about a year now we were told and doing well. (PS, if you were here in the 80s you may recall the blackboard in the back room with 'Dr Death Topping Out on the Black Hole '. Sadly gone but the place has been made over very agreeably, so its time you went back!

Do the camping 2night near around and having dinner 2night here. first night only causal chips and cola but portion big enough only 3pound each. and 2nd night after did the scrambling via Crib Goch then i need to have good dinner and lamb also very tasty with reasonable price. service also nice. good choice for drink and dinner at here.

After spending a few days in the Snowdonia area and being unable to find a local pub, we stumbled upon this charming establishment. The staff were friendly, they had a great selection of local beers and a decent wine list. The menu was extensive and we decided to try the lasagne, which was clearly homemade and one of the best we've ever had. It was a refreshing change from the typical pub fare. We hope the current chef continues to impress with their delicious food for many years to come. We would definitely revisit if in the area.

Went here for dinner whilst camping opposite. Note it doesn’t open til 5pm! Definitely missing a trick in not serving breakfast…. There’s nowhere around to get a breakfast! Lots of different menus available, food was delicious plentiful. Very reasonably priced. Nice selection of wines.
